KARIEGA – The South African Police Service in Uitenhage are urgently seeking the community’s assistance in tracing the next of kin of an unidentified male.

The decomposed body of an unidentified male was discovered by a community member, lying in the bushes close to the railway crossing in Amanzi, outside Kariega at about 13:45 on Sunday, 8 May 2022.  The deceased was clad in a navy blue top, grey and blue Nike tekkies and a black Kappa tracksuit pants.  A case of murder was opened and is under investigation.
