Fashion-lovers, foodies and others are encouraged to head over to the Company’s Gardens this weekend for My Cape Town Market.
The market will feature a variety of small business owners selling their wares as well as live entertainment, carnival rides, a giant football play area and more.
‘My Cape Town Market is proudly facilitated by the Department of Enterprise and Investment with the aim of giving small businesses in Cape Town a big boost. Not only will shoppers find all sorts of unique goodies, by supporting our small businesses, more of our rands go into the local economy. It’s a win-win,’ said Alderman James Vos, the City’s Mayoral Committee Member for Economic Growth.
My Cape Town Market affords traders an opportunity to connect directly with consumers in a space that is popular with locals and visitors alike.
‘We want to bring that sense of community that’s so wonderful at markets in Cape Town. There will be fun for everyone, for the young and the young at heart. Enjoy live entertainment in the beautiful setting of the Gardens, with artists like Jarrad Ricketts, Mel Jones, Don Vino and Fancy Galada. Don’t miss it!,’ said Alderman Vos.
