Imbizo to raise awareness on gender-based violence and femicide

Human Settlements Deputy Minister Ms Pam Tshwete together with Deputy Minister in the Presidency Ms Pinky Kekana will host the stakeholder engagement and community Imbizo to raise awareness around the gender-based violence and femicide on Thursday 8 December 2022 in Peelton, eQonce.

This engagement forms part of the 16 days of activism for no violence against women and children. The Campaign is held from 25 November to 10 December to raise awareness of the damaging impact that violence and abuse have on women and children. The campaign also seeks to permanently free society of abuse and violent crimes against the vulnerable.
