Koidu: The Ministry of Technical and Higher Education (MTHE) has donated a vehicle to the Kono University of Science and Technology (KUST) to enhance the institution's administrative functions.

According to Sierra Leone News Agency, during the presentation, Minister Dr. Haja Ramatulai Wurie explained that the donation specifically supports the university's Secretariat. She highlighted that a generous son of Kono made the vehicle possible, complementing the Government's existing efforts to uplift the institution.

Dr. Wurie reaffirmed the Ministry's dedication to higher education nationwide, ensuring universities obtain essential resources for effective operation.

On behalf of KUST, Vice Chancellor Prof. Tamba Jamiru received the vehicle and called it a timely intervention. He thanked the Ministry and its partners, adding that the donation will significantly aid the university's daily activities.
