The Minister of Transport, Mr Fikile Mbalula will release the Accident Report of a road crash that occurred on Friday the 16th September 2022 and resulted in 20 fatalities in uPhongolo, KwaZulu-Natal.

The Minister will also outline government measures to alleviate pressure on roads by the freight and trucking industry.

Accompanied by the Road Accident Fund, the Road Traffic Management Corporation, Senior officials of the KZN provincial government and other government agencies for social relief and law enforcement, the Minister will also visit the families of the victims.
