WESTERN CAPE – An integrated law enforcement operation, led by the Anti-Economical Crime Task team in the Western Cape on Tuesday 20 September 2022, arrested four suspects in Firgrove, Macassar.
The planned operation focussed on crime hotspots in the area. When the convoy arrived in Seventh Avenue, they approached the identified premises and searched the entire area. They confiscated mandrax tablets with an estimated street value of R12 000-00 and cash. A 42-year-old man was arrested and detained on a charge of dealing in drugs.
Once charged the suspect is expected to make a court appearance in the Somerset West Magistrate court on the mentioned charge.
