Sierra leone: Sierra Leone's Vice President, Dr. Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh, joined President Julius Maada Bio on Saturday, May 9, at the Show Field in Kenema for the sod-turning ceremony of the Sierra Leone People's Party (SLPP) regional office. The event drew party supporters, government officials, and dignitaries from across the country. According to Sierra Leone News Agency, VP Jalloh attended in support of the President, who leads the SLPP, as the party launched the construction project. Party officials described the office as a key asset for the Eastern Region. President Bio said the office will serve Kenema and the entire Eastern Province, adding that the project aims to strengthen the party's presence and improve coordination among members. He called on supporters and well-wishers to contribute personally, noting that no donation is too small. He also urged members to take ownership of the project and continue working together for the party's growth. According to party chairman Sir Jimmy Batilo Songa, t he regional office will provide administrative space and support party activities across the Eastern Province.
