According to Sierra Leone News Agency, delivering a keynote address at the FII PRIORITY Summit 2026 in Miami, President Bio stressed that global cooperation is no longer optional but essential to tackling economic inequality, climate change, and disparities in educational access. He positioned Africa and Sierra Leone specifically as a ready partner for unlocking innovation-driven growth.

President Bio reinforced his administration's focus on people-centered development, describing education as the bedrock of long-term national transformation. 'Our focus is on building human capital as the most sustainable pathway to economic transformation,' he said, citing the expansion of Sierra Leone's Free Quality Education initiative and its measurable impact on youth outcomes.
