GAUTENG – On Monday, 20 June 2022 members of SAPS Magaliesburg arrested three suspects, aged between 31 and 44, near Orient Hills for possession of a hijacked vehicle.
According to a preliminary report the SAPS members received a community tip-off and operationalised the information. The members swiftly detected the suspicious looking vehicle with three occupants, driving along the R24 road from Rustenburg.
The suspects’ vehicle was intercepted by the members and searched. Further investigation confirmed that the said vehicle is linked to a Rustenburg hijacking case.
The trio is expected to appear before the Krugersdorp Magistrates’ court soon.
