Johannesburg: The South African Football Association's (SAFA) Technical Department is set to host a National Teams Identity Workshop that will involve all the men's and women's national team coaches next week. According to South African Football Association, the workshop will take place at SAFA House in Nasrec, South of Johannesburg, from 18-20 February 2026. SAFA Technical Director Molefi Ntseki will lead the programme, which will include presentations from coaches of various national teams, such as the Under-15, Under-17, Under-20, and senior South African national teams. Dr. Desiree Ellis, coach of Sasol Banyana Banyana, will not attend in person due to her team's participation in the COSAFA Women's Championship in Polokwane, Limpopo, starting the same week. Despite her absence, she will join the workshop online. The team commenced their camp on Friday, 13 February 2026, with the tournament scheduled in Polokwane from 18 February to 1 March 2026. FIFA representatives and invited guests are also expected to attend the workshop, which aims to foster engagement and collaboration among the national team coaches.
