**Prime Minister Urges Unity Amidst New Peacebuilding Act Announcement**

Bangkok: The Prime Minister has called upon Thais to foster love and unity following the announcement of the Act on Creating a Peaceful Society in the Royal Gazette, highlighting the presence of numerous external adversaries that the nation continues to face.

According to Thai News Agency, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul addressed the nation regarding the publication of the Peacebuilding Act B.E. 2569 (2026). This newly announced legislation, commonly referred to as the amnesty law, pertains to political cases, including demonstrations and expressions dating from January 1, 2005, to July 16, 2025. The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of national unity, stating that it should not solely rely on the amnesty granted to certain individuals. He pointed out that there are numerous enemies who harbor ill intentions towards the country.

The Prime Minister further elaborated on the importance of maintaining a united front, urging citizens to avoid slandering their compatriots or making statements that could demoralize or harm the reputation of government officials. He stressed that true victory and unity can only be achieved through collective support and cooperation. The Prime Minister also called for backing government officials and volunteer soldiers dedicated to defending the nation and ensuring the security of the homeland.
