The Police in Mashashane are appealing to members of the community to assist in locating a missing girl from Ga-Matlapa village.
According to the missing girl’s sister, on Thursday 22 September 2022 at about 09:00, she sent her younger sister Hunadi Mogongwa aged 14 to the shops and she took along her child. The duo apparently never return home and later in the evening, the girl’s mother received a phone call informing her that the child is in Mokopane.
Police were notified and together with the mother proceeded to Mokopane. Upon arrival, they managed to safely recover the child but the girl was nowhere to be found. The child was apparently found by one of the relatives.
Police continued with investigations and the girl was reportedly last seen with a friend known as Brandy Mashimbye who has since disappeared as well.
The missing teenager was reportedly last seen wearing a blue jean, white jersey with black and white Adidas tekkies at the time of her disappearance.

Police investigations are continuing.
