MOUNT FLETCHER – A suspect that is alleged to have been dealing in dagga from his Quantum vehicle was stopped in his tracks when members from the East London Public Order Policing arrested him when they stopped and searched his vehicle.
It is alleged that the members were busy with stop and search operations on the R56 road between Mount Fletcher and Maclear when they searched the vehicle. Two large bags of dagga and 150 medium and small bags of dagga were found in a brown leather sling bag.
The vehicle was confiscated and the 34-year-old suspect arrested and detained on a charge of dealing in drugs.
He will appear tomorrow in the Mount Fletcher magistrate court.
