ALLDAYS- The police in Alldays represented by social crime prevention coordinator and communication officer Sergeant Tshiwalule and AC Raphadana joined by CPF and YCOP members in partnership with the Department of Social Development, Department of Education, Acting Principal Ms Matlala and Department of Health, Blouberg and Social Awareness have embarked on a safer school awareness campaign today.
The purpose of the visit was to address challenges previously reported by the school principal during the police school visits and to introduce the Junior Commissioners to their fellow learners.
The following issues were addressed:
*Discipline
*Dangerous weapons
*Cyber-crimes
* Bullying
*Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA)
*Sexual harassment
*Crimes against women and children
*Police numbers to report any criminal activities
During the campaign, about 300 Grade 8, 10 and 11 learners were reached with a positive response.
