The Western Cape SAPS Management praised the efforts of the investigating officer and the prosecution team who all played a vital role in the conviction and subsequent sentencing of Lorenzo Daniels.
Initial reports reveal that gunfire erupted in the early hours on a Sunday morning in October 2023. When residents went to check they found Teshwell Moses laying on the road with no sign of life. From the onset the investigating officer assigned to this brutal murder followed all leads available at his disposal in a bid to apprehend the suspect responsible for this murder. A 34-year-old man was then arrested and charged with murder.
On Monday 05 August 2024, Lorenzo was convicted and sentenced to 15 years’ imprisonment of which five years was suspended for five years in the Wynberg Regional Court.
