Worcester Crime Prevention Unit arrests two suspects for dealing and possession of drugs

WESTERN CAPE – Members of the Worcester Crime Prevention Unit received information about a drug delivery on the Robertson road near Roodewal flats. A vehicle from Cape Town was pulled over and searched, and 701 mandrax tablets and 50 grams of tik were found inside the vehicle.

One suspect fled from the vehicle into Roodewaal flats however, he was swiftly apprehended. He was found in possession of 300 mandrax tablets and 50 grams of tik.

Both suspects aged 24 and 40 were arrested for dealing and possession of drugs. They will appear in the Worcester Magistrate’s Court today.
