DURBAN – On 7 February 2022 at 18:00, Plessislaer police officers utilising additional police deployments in the area followed up on information of a stolen motor vehicle being kept in Henley Location and proceeded to the scene. Upon their arrival at the said location, police requested to search the homestead and recovered one vehicle on the premises.

The vehicle was taken to the police pound for further investigation. A 31-year-old female was arrested at the scene for possession of a stolen vehicle. The suspect appeared in the Pietermaritzburg Magistrates Court on 8 February 2022. She was remanded in custody until 15 February 2022 for bail application.
