GQEBERHA - The Provincial Organised Crime Investigation (Gang) in Gqeberha is seeking the communities’ assistance in tracing a wanted attempted murder suspect. A warrant for his arrest has been issued.
It is alleged that on 2 July 2022 at about 20:00, the 40-year-old complainant was walking in Missionvale when he passed the suspect who is known to him. Both males greeted each other and continued walking in the opposite direction. As the victim turned around, the suspect, aged about 28-years-old fired several shots at him. He sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
The suspect is known and has evaded arrest since the incident.
Police are seeking the whereabouts of Dylan Mafilika. It is suspected that he may be out of the Province, possibly in Gauteng, Bloemfontein or Cape Town. The wanted person is an affiliated gang member.

All information is confidential and callers may remain anonymous. Police would like to caution anyone who may know him or his whereabouts, not to approach him as he may be armed and is considered dangerous.
