Members of SAPS Edenvale arrested a 32-year-old man in Dowerglen on Friday, 08 April 2022 and recovered an unlicensed firearm and ammunition.

The SAPS members were reportedly conducting a Crime Prevention operation in the area when they detected a suspicious looking vehicle. A search led the members to recover an unlicensed firearm and ammunition.

Station Commander of SAPS Edenvale, Colonel NE Basholo lauded the members for recovering an unlicensed firearm and encouraged her members to continue protecting the community.
