BUTTERWORTH - A quick response by police led to an arrest of a suspect in possession of drugs at Yako Information Settlement in Butterworth yesterday, 30 August 2022.
The arrest comes after police acted on information they received about a male that is keeping drugs in a shack. They then proceeded to the Informal Settlement and searched the suspect and found eight nine(89) Tik straws, thirty six (36) bompies of dagga, five (5) boss tablets, seventeen (17) halves of boss tablets. He was arrested and charged for possession of drugs.
The suspect is due to appear at Butterworth Magistrate Court tomorrow, 01 September 2022.
