Residents are reminded to put out their bins on the upcoming public holidays, Good Friday (15 April) and Easter Monday (18 April), as the refuse collection teams will be working on these days.

Please also note the operating times at drop-off facilities during this period:

• Good Friday: all drop-off facilities are closed.

• Easter Sunday: drop-off facilities operating at public holiday times. Hout Bay, Simons Town and Kommetjie drop-offs closed due to planned road closures for an event.

• Easter Monday: drop-off facilities are operating at public holiday times.

• We encourage residents to retain recyclable/garden/garage/E-waste at home until normal operations resume if necessary, or make use of alternative or private facilities if possible. You can check which private recycling services are available in your area on the City’s waste recyclers map.

• The City thanks residents for their continued efforts to Keep Cape Town Clean.
