A total of 41 foreign nationals, inclusive of 10 toddlers, were remanded in custody by the Barberton Magistarte’s Court on Monday, 12 August 2024.
The 15 males were remanded to 20 August 2024 for Legal aid representatives, and the 10 females together with toddlers were also remanded in custody and their case was postponed to Tuesday, 13 August 2024, for age determination and Legal Aid. The cases against the minors were not dealt with, pending the availability of probation officer and social.
