The South African Police Service in Kariega are investigating a case of culpable homicide following a fatal motor vehicle collision in which a 54-year-old Jeffreys Bay man died at the scene.
It is alleged that at about 18:50 on Saturday, 28 August 2021, that three vehicles (a white VW Polo Cross, a silver VW Polo and a VW Caddy collided in Melbrooks Avenue, Kariega. The circumstances surrounding the accident is under investigation. The male driver of the white VW Polo Cross was fatally injured and the other five persons, in the other vehicles, sustained minor injuries. The name of the deceased will be released after formal identification was completed.
Investigations are continuing.
