FREE STATE – The Phuthaditjhaba Detective Services arrested two women in Phuthaditjhaba and charged them for possession of unlicensed firearm which was hidden inside a washing basket.
Allegedly, the detectives were on heels of a suspect wanted for robbery at certain local tavern. They finally caught him and found two bullets in his possession. They further questioned him about the firearm which led police to the house where two women were arrested.
The three suspects are expected to appear before Phuthaditjhaba Magistrate Court on Monday, 14 March 2022, facing charges of possession of unlicensed firearm and ammunitions and robbery separately.
