DURBAN - On 4 April 2022 at 11:15, police officers from the Provincial Drug and Firearm Unit acted on information about drugs being delivered to a flat on Margaret Mncadi Road.

Police proceeded to the identified flat where two suspects were found cutting and packaging the drugs. They were found in possession of 40 large plastic packets of heroin, 31 wrappings of heroin powder, a blender containing a large amount of heroin, 150 pieces of rock cocaine as well as other drugs.

The two suspects aged 27 and 37 were placed under arrest for possession and dealing in drugs. The recovered drugs are valued at R73 775-00. The suspects appeared before the Durban Magistrate's Court yesterday.
