NORTHERN CAPE - The SAPS welcomes the life sentence for the murder of Leon Brits (41) that was handed down to Enrich Williams (36) and Amantle Bareki (25) in the Upington High Court today 03 February 2022.

The two accused received life sentence for murder, 15 years for armed robbery, 10 years for illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition. The sentences will run concurrently.

The SAPS management in the Northern Cape lauds D/Col Wilmo Vermeulen and D/Lt Col Pieter Benade from the Provincial Organised Crime Detectives for their meticulous investigation that led to this awesome sentences.
