On Monday the 13 September 2021 two males aged 29 and 35 were arrested for possession of dagga in the Joe Slovo locality of Cofimvaba.
The arrests followed after Queenstown Public Order Police was deployed at Cofimvaba to focus on police generated crimes.
Confiscations
* 23 sachets of dagga and one plastic bag containing loose dagga. Estimated street value is R800-00.
* 106 sachets of dagga and one plastic bag containing loose dagga. Estimated street value is R3000-00.
The suspects will appear before the Cofimvaba Magistrates Court on Tuesday 14 September 2021.
The Acting Chris Hani District Commissioner Brigadier Magqashela welcomed the arrests made and the removal of this illicit drugs from circulation.
