On Thursday, 30 September 2021 Mlungisi Visible Police members acted on intelligence driven information and arrested two juveniles when they were found in possession of suspected stolen copper cables, alleged to originate from a library mini substation in the locality.
The suspects, were handed over to SAPS Social Workers.
The value of the copper cables is estimated at about R250 000-00.
The Acting Chris Hani District Commissioner Brigadier Mabel Magqashela welcomed the arrests and warned the community not to use juveniles to commit crime.
