On Friday, the 3rd of September 2021, two males aged (32) and (27) were arrested for possession of suspected stolen property.

During an intelligence driven operation, conducted in conjunction with Lady Frere detectives, the focus area was property related crimes. Two homesteads, in the

Bongolwethu and Mtsheko locality of Lady Frere were visited.

One microwave and one plasma television set were confiscated. The value of the stolen property is R11 500-00.

The suspects will appear before the Lady Frere Magistrate’s Court on Monday the 6th of September 2021 on charges relating to Possession of suspected stolen property.

The Acting District Commissioner, Brigadier Mabel Magqashela welcomed the arrests made and the recovery of the suspected stolen property.
