Two arrests made for dealing in drugs in Komani

On Friday, the 3rd of September 2021, an intelligence driven operation was conducted in co-operation with the Queenstown K9-dog unit.

 

A homestead, in the Mlungisi locality of Komani was visited. Two males aged (20) and (34) were arrested for dealing in drugs, when found in possession of (8) kg of loose dagga, (3) full Boss mandrax tablets, (13) half Boss mandrax tablets and (14) quarter Boss mandrax tablets. The estimated street value of the drugs are R25 000-00.

 

The suspects will appear before the Queenstown Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday the 7th of September 2021 on related charges.

 

The Acting Distict Commissioner, Brigadier Mabel Magqashela welcomed the successes achieved by intelligence driven information and urges the community to report dealing of illicet drugs.
