Omusati Region – A two-year-old girl, Susan Noongo, tragically died following an alleged assault by her aunt in Okafitukakuni village, leading to a 40-year-old woman’s arrest. Namibian Police Force Regional Commander, Commissioner Ismael Basson, reported the incident, stating that the assault occurred around 14:00 on Tuesday.

According to Namibian Press Agency (NAMPA), The child suffered a broken arm and lost consciousness, and later, around 18:00, was taken to the Omahenene clinic by the suspect, where she was declared dead. The aunt is set to appear in the Outapi Magistrate’s Court on a murder charge, following the heartrending incident.
