FREE STATE – Members received a tip-off from residents about cows suspected to be stolen and two suspects were arrested with vehicle and trailer.
On 13 March 2022 at about 14:00, members of Dealesville SAPS were busy with their routine vehicle patrol, when they received information about suspected stolen cows. The suspects were approached while parking in Brand Street near Municipality camp at Dealesville. A request was made for documents to be in possession of the livestock which could not be produced.
The two suspects 32 and 42 years old were arrested for possession of suspected stolen livestock (cows) valued R24 000. The vehicle and trailer were also seized.
The suspects will appear soon in Dealesville Magistrate Court.
