CAPE TOWN – The endeavours of the Provincial Extortion Task Team to bring perpetrators of the law to book led to the arrest of three suspects this weekend in St Helena Bay for dealing in drugs.
The members reacted on intelligence and conducted a search operation at a residence in Gansie Street, Laingville, St Helena Bay on Saturday evening where the three suspects aged between 27 and 50 were arrested in possession of 1176 mandrax tablets with an estimated street value of R70 000-00 and cash believed to be the proceeds of crime.
The suspects are expected to make their court appearances in Vredenburg Magistrates court this morning.
