EASTERN CAPE – The determination of members of the South African Police Services, Elliot K9, continues to yield positive results after three 3 notorious male suspects aged 30, 40 and 43 were arrested for dealing in drugs and dagga in unrelated incidents .
In the first incident on Monday, 06 September 2021, members of Elliot K9 acted swiftly on a tip off alleging that a male suspect is dealing in drugs at Tyoksville Dordrecht.
The information was immediately followed up and a male suspect aged, was arrested for dealing in drugs. The suspect already appeared in court.
Success achieved: 70, small plastic wrapped with crystal meth (tik) and undisclosed amount of money was confiscated.
On Tuesday, 07 September 2021, again members of Elliot K9 were on duty performing routine patrols and monitoring alert level 3 Regulations of the Disaster Management Act.
It is when they received positive information alleging a male suspect is dealing in dagga. The members immediately followed up the information and managed to arrest a male suspect aged 40 at Bekela location in Ugie. The male suspect appeared today at Ugie District court.
Success achieved: 17, dagga bompies and undisclosed amount of money was confiscated.
Today, 08 september 2021 again members of Elliot K9 acted swiftly during an intelligence driven led operation and managed to arrest a male suspect aged 43 for dealing in drugs at Bekela location. The suspect will appear soon at court
The acting District Commissioner Brigadier Rudolph Adolph hailed the Elliot K9 members in apprehending the notorious suspects that were dealing in drugs and dagga.
