DURBAN – The Ntuzuma Task Team conducted an investigation after Mbuso Patrick Nhlosi (22) went missing on 07 February 2022. Police worked tirelessly, trying to connect all the dots regarding his disappearance. His lifeless body was found on 9 February 2022, dumped in the Umngeni River next to KwaDabeka with his throat slit and stab wounds on his head.

A case of murder was opened at Ntuzuma SAPS for investigation. The investigative teams perseverance resulted in a breakthrough which resulted in the arrest of three suspects aged between 37 and 40 for murder. The suspects appeared in the Ntuzuma Magistrates’ Court on 11 February 2022. They were remanded in custody until 18 February 2022.
