NORTHERN CAPE – Kingsley Edward Erlank (57) and an entity, Pest Control (PTY) Ltd were sentenced by the Kimberley Specialised Commercial Crimes Court on Thursday, 2 February 2023 for contravention of Income Tax Act.

The accused were served with summons during September 2022 by the Hawks’ Serious Corruption Investigation team for non-submission of corporate income tax returns and failure to submit Value Added Tax (VAT) returns for sometime.

Erland pleaded guilty to 19 counts and he was sentenced to a fine of R30 000-00 or two years imprisonment. Further, the entity was sentenced to a fine of R30 000-00 or two years imprisonment.
