DURBAN – Three men, aged between 33 and 36, are briefly appearing in the Ntuzuma Magistrate’s Court today facing a charge for possession of property suspected to be stolen.
On Saturday, 04 December 2021 at 17:30, police were on duty when they operationalized information about men driving a silver Toyota Etios who were selling computers at Amanzimtoti Road in C Section. Police officers proceeded to the identified spot and observed the vehicle matching the given description with three occupants inside.
A search was conducted and police officers recovered computers from the boot of the car. The men could not furnish a satisfactory explanation for being in possession of the property and were immediately placed under arrest. Preliminary investigations revealed that computers were stolen during a burglary at a Call Centre in Umhlanga.
