The efforts of Lwandle police to bring offenders of crime to book, led to the arrest of eight suspects during an intelligence driven operation during the early hours of this morning.
The suspects aged between 19 and 44 were arrested for the possession of unlicensed firearms and presumed stolen property after several cases of serious crimes were reported in the area.
During the operation the members confiscated three pistols, ammunition, two laptops and a cellular telephone, possibly stolen by the suspects.
