EASTERN CAPE – A joint crime intelligence operation by Kwt Flying Squad, Kwt K9 and Crime intelligence led to the arrest of a 28-year-old suspect. This is after police received information about drug dealings in a house at Qonce.
Police stormed the premises and on seeing the police, the suspect ran away and dropped a plastic bag in the process but police caught up with him and took him back to his flat where they found a stash of tik and dagga with a street value of R15 000-00 and a scale. Police also recovered cash of R14 680-00 which was taken as an exhibit. The suspect will appear before the King William’s Town magistrate court soon facing charges of dealing in drugs.
