MPUMALANGA –On Thursday, 09 December 2021, at about 06:00, members of Secunda Hawks`Serious Organised Crime Investigation, Crime Intelligence, Standerton Crime Intelligence, Standerton and Secunda K9 Units conducted a search and seizure operation at a house in Volksrust following information about drugs on the premises.
One male, who was found in the premises, was interviewed and indicated that his brother had already left to town. The premises was thoroughly searched and members found 28 x pieces of crack cocaine hidden in the kitchen. Members also found a bag containing 61 x pinches of nyaope and another bag containing pure heroin hidden at various places throughout the premises.
The suspect (30) was arrested and charged for dealing in drugs and he will appear in Volksrust Magistrate’s Court on Friday, 10 December 2021 while his brother is being sought.
