WILLOWVALE – Willowvale OCC last night arrested a 24-year-old man at a Willowvale Informal Settlement.
Police were busy with their Crime Prevention duties in their policing precinct when they received information about a shack that had drugs. They proceeded swiftly to the shack and on arrival the suspect was alone. They asked permission to search the place and permission was granted. A search was conducted and upon searching they found (39) boss tablets, (18) tik straws and eight (08) packets containing tik powder.
He was immediately arrested and is appearing in the Willowvale Magistrate’s Court today.
The Amathole Acting District Commissioner Brigadier Ngangema Xakavu applauded the members in their efforts to curb the use of drugs in their policing precinct.
