The SAPS Provincial Organised Crime Detectives arrested a 30-year-old male for the murder of Klaas Small (27). On 27 January 2021 the body of the deceased was discovered by a passer-by in a didge in Breipaal, Douglas.
On 29 September 2021 at about 13:30 police followed up on information and arrested the male suspect at his house in Breipaal, Douglas. It is alleged that the murder could be connected to insurance fraud and more arrests could follow.
The suspect should be appearing in the Douglas Magistrates’ Court soon. The investigation continues.
