EASTERN CAPE – Ngqeleni police were following up on information of drugs at Zinduneni locality when they recovered an unlicensed firearm in possession from a 31-year-old man on Saturday, 25 December 2021 at 01:40 at Zinduneni locality Ngqeleni.

It is alleged that upon police arrival at the homestead, they found the suspect in possession of eight sachets of tik and four Boss mandrax tablets. A 7.65 pistol with one magazine was also found in his possession.

Suspect was arrested and will appear before Ngqeleni magistrate court today, 28 December 2021.
