The Tactical Response Team have arrested 57-year-old man from Matsikeng Village, Qwaqwa for alleged dealing in dagga and Nyaope at Setsing Complex in Phuthaditjhaba.
On Wednesday, 27 October 2021, the members of the unit executed an operation trough stop and searches focussing on the drug scourge in Setsing area.
During a search a premises, members found a plastic bag with loose dagga weighing 3.74kg to an estimated street value of R3800 and 37 sachets of nyaope in the possession of a man. The suspect was arrested and detained.
He is expected to appear before the Phuthaditjhaba Magistrate’s Court on Thursday, 28 October 2021 facing charges of dealing in dagga and drugs.
