Residents and businesses are kindly requested to note that the stop-go-system will have an impact on traffic flow and commuting times. Commuters are also advised to avoid travelling to Fish Hoek via Muizenberg and Kalk Bay, and to use alternative routes where possible.
The stop-go-system will be implemented along Main Road between 09:00 and 16:00:
- From Wednesday, 30 March 2022 until Friday, 1 April 2022
- On Monday, 4 April 2022 and Tuesday, 5 April 2022
- The stop-go-system may be extended, pending inclement weather and rain
The diversion of traffic is needed while Main Road is being resurfaced one lane at a time, from Clovelly Road to the Fish Hoek traffic circle where it joins the M65 towards Kommetjie.
The City is thanking residents and commuters for their patience and support during this time.
