DURBAN – A 40-year-old man alleged that when he woke up on 09 August 2022 at 07:45, he realised that his 32 goats have been stolen from his kraal Dendethu Reserve. He reported the matter to Sundumbili police and a case of stock theft was opened for investigation. The docket was transferred to Greytown Stock Theft Unit for further investigation.
An intensive investigation led the police to an open veld in the Dendethu area on 15 August 2022 where the stolen stock were kept. The stock was found unguarded and the owner was informed about the recovery. The 32 stolen goats valued R68200-00 was handed over to the owner. Police are still searching for the suspects.
