Rome – The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of the former State President of the Republic of South Africa, F.W de Klerk. His efforts to fight hunger and malnutrition as a member of the FAO-Nobel Laureates for Food Security and Peace helped to remind the world that every single action to defeat hunger is an act of justice.
