**Southern Border Provinces Heighten Security Following Multiple Bombings**

Bangkok: The Director-General of the Provincial Administration revealed that the three southern border provinces have raised their security levels to the highest level. This decision follows a series of bombings that have prompted an urgent response from authorities.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Narucha Khosasilvilai, Director-General of the Department of Provincial Administration, addressed the situation in the three southern border provinces, where multiple incidents occurred overnight. He stated that they were informed of the events since yesterday and immediately instructed security measures and the deployment of all forces in the area, particularly in Yala Province, to be on high alert. He emphasized the need for heightened vigilance by the main forces within the sub-district protection units, and stressed the importance of issuing warnings to the public, prohibiting them from leaving their areas since last night. All of this is part of a comprehensive effort to reinforce security measures and maintain stability. Furthermore, the Department of Provincial Administration and related agencies are conducting field operations to track down the insurgents, while others are implementing the measures outlined in the Southern Border Provinces Development Plan.

When asked what measures would be taken if the perpetrators were not apprehended, and what kind of restrictions would be imposed, Mr. Narucha stated that declaring such a restriction is already part of the plan of the Southern Border Provinces Administration Center (SBAC), particularly the regional army commanders who will control the situation and oversee this matter. When asked about initial reports of injuries or fatalities, Mr. Narucha said that they would have to wait for official reports, but the number of incidents is quite serious, affecting three provinces in total.

When asked whether the authorities had intelligence that the simultaneous attacks at multiple locations were intended as a symbolic gesture or to convey a specific message, Mr. Narucha stated that they had been receiving intelligence periodically and had relayed this information to operational units. Regarding last night's operations, he said it was clear the perpetrators had planned for a wide distribution of attacks across the area, and that all areas were on constant alert. He emphasized the need for heightened vigilance and continuous monitoring of security measures.
