The Somali National Army and the brave local forces conducted operation in Qodqod area in Mudug region causing heavy damages to the Al-Shabaab terrorists and took control of the area.
The armed forces and the local forces have taken full control of Qodqod area under Amara town in Mudug region.
The operation comes as the Somali National Army and local forces intensified onslaught operations against Al-Shabaab in the south and central Somalia.
