Sekhukhune District Women’s Network wrap up Women’s Month celebrations in style

POLOKWANE: The SAPS Women in Sekhukhune District, have yesterday on Monday 30 August 2021 conducted women’s month celebration event at Hlogotlou police station.

 

The event was attended by were Lieutenant Colonel Hlagala from Sekhukhune, Captain Tshehla from Groblersdal, Captain Setlawane from EHW Groblersdal, Captain Nemavhola from Provincial Corporate Communications and Chaplain Warrant Officer Ramatshego. The program directors were Miss Mothupi and Constable Maimela.

 

During the programme, Chaplain Ramatshego emphasised that women must be phenomenal and stand for their principles.

 

The new committee of Women’s Network and Men for Change received blessings by Pastor Dikoebe.

 

Warrant Officer Ramatshego led the roundtable discussions in which women were given a platform to discuss things that affect their well-being on daily routines.

 

Sergeant Balili from Marble Hall Saps as a Gender based violence Activist, shared by experience with the attendees as part of strengthening women to speak up whenever they came across challenges.

 

Pastor Grace Baloyi concluded the event with prayer.
